On the art of staying gentle

On the art of staying gentle

Self kindness is often a foreign concept for many women, and I'm here to put an end to that nonsense. To remain gentle with yourself is the greatest gift you can give your mind, body and soul. We have the privilege as humans to age, we have the ability to choose how we see ourselves. You deserve to love the voice in your head, to talk kindly to yourself and others. I promise you'll be better for it. Staying gentle with yourself will be your greatest strength.

As a woman in my mid thirties I have been growing, and reflecting a lot in the last few years. I have come to really love myself for exactly who I am. Including all my "short comings" if you can call them that. The older I get the more accepting I am of my growth and need to change. I love this process and I hope I always will. Spending quality time on your own mind, body and soul is needed. My personal goal is to do just one thing a day that improves my mind, body and soul. Just one, that doesn't seem too hard, right? For me that looks like maybe reading a thought provoking article, taking a walk alone in the woods, eating a clean meal or going to be early. Every day is different and I don't look down on myself is somedays I forget to do this or "fail" that day. We are busy humans, be gentle with yourself.

What would doing on thing daily for your mind, body and soul look like?
